Reclaimed End Table

The Reclaimed End Table was designed around a single plank of elm wood purchased from Harvest Lumber in Austin, TX. The wood comes from a local Austin tree that had to be cut down after a major Austin storm. This Elm end table features mitered corners and live edge drawers. The legs were individually turned on a wood lathe and braced with a midcentury style strut. The entire piece was finished with an oil based finish to give it deeper color and bring out the unique and highly textured natural grain.
