Walnut Credenza

The Walnut Credenza was a personal project for an entertainment center that could hide away the clutter and electronics necessary for an living room entertainment center. The design is midcentury and separated into three different parts. The first is a swing door with storage for games, DVD’s and other smaller items. The second is open storage sized to tightly fit a record collection. Last is the larger media compartment that is hidden behind a sliding door with a hidden track. The construction is solid walnut with an oil based finish to bring out the grain. Special attention was taken to have a continuous grain match on all surfaces. Even door ends have been modified to remove end grain and keep a continuous grain throughout the compartments.
