Cake Stands

This large and small cake stand was made for a local baker and friend @thekitchenvvitch as a piece to show off her cakes in photographs. The stands are made of individually turned Brazilian hardwood pieces joined together with a maple dowel that connects the base and cake surface. The cake stands are finished with a food safe oil based finish to deepen the wood color and make the grain pop.
